Carlos Perneta

Certified Accountant

Carlos joined NEWCO’s accounting department in 2025 and currently has around 17 years’ experience in auditing, accounting and finance.

He holds an integrated Master’s degree in Management from ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.

Carlos began his career as an auditor at EY Portugal, from where he moved to become a financial analyst at the Teixeira Duarte Group, performing management control and treasury coordination functions in Portugal and Angola.

From 2017 until joining NEWCO, Carlos held the positions of audit manager and senior audit manager at EY Angola, coordinating audit processes for companies across various sectors, including in the context of reporting under IFRS and US GAAP.

In addition to Portuguese, his native language, Carlos is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
